Chinese BBQ Pork Pillow Puffs
This is a homemade version of the baked Chinese BBQ pork bun served at dim sum restaurants. Very easy to make and always a hit at parties.

INGREDIENTS
1 can Pillsbury Country biscuits 340 g
1 tablespoon oil
1 scallion, chopped fine
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
1/4 pound Chinese barbecued pork cut into small cubes
1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
1 egg beaten, for egg wash
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Heat oil in wok. Stir fry scallion and garlic 30 seconds.
3. Add pork. Stir-fry 1 minute. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar. Pour in dissolved cornstarch.
4. Stir-fry quickly until pork is glazed. Remove to bowl and allow to cool.
5. Divide Pillsbury biscuits into 10 rounds. Roll them out into 1/8 inch-thick circles.
6. Fill each one with 1 tbsp of bbq pork filling in the center of the dough.
7. Fold over dough to form a half moon and press edges shut with the back of a fork.
8. Brush with egg wash and prick the top with a fork.
9. Bake for 15 minutes.
